Walker Ultra Hold Adhesive
Walker Ultra Hold Liquid Adhesive is an acrylic soft bond for use with extended-wear bonding (perimeter and full-head attachment) that and has an estimated hold time of 1 Day and up to 4 Weeks* (average 2-3 weeks) depending on skin type, body chemistry and skin preparation. Super-strength adhesion with a lasting hold it is made of a waterproof, non-yellowing formula that provides the strength and security desired from an extended wear adhesive. Used extensively in the medical industry. This glue can be messy and we recommend only applying a single layer since Ultra Hold is a thicker formula.
Directions and Recommendations
: We always recommend a doing a skin test for any sensitivity: to glue or tape: place small amount of glue either just behind the ear or on the inside of the lower arm. Leave test amount on up to 24 hours and remove immediately if any irritation occurs. Only a single layer of glue and allow to dry 10-15 minutes before placing system on head (glue will still be soft and sticky). Use with a scalp protector for sensitive skin or to increase adhesion time for oily skin and in hot, humid weather and for oily or sensitive skin.
Removal
: Use a lace release product for lace bases to release adhesive or tape from unit. Apply a citrus-based, soft bond remover to remove adhesive residue from scalp, hair and base.
Walker C-22 Citrus Based Solvent
Walker C-22 Citrus-Based Solvent is a fast acting, skin safe adhesive remover and cleaner for use on scalp, hair systems and wigs; both lace and polyurethane. C-22 is a quick and effective solvent for removing soft bond adhesives and tape residue from scalp, wig and hair system. C-22 is oily and has a strong, citrus scent; is gentle on skin and rinses off with soap and water.
Directions: Apply over adhesive area (avoid contact with eyes); reaction time begins in as little as 1 minute, depending on amount of adhesive build-up (do not leave on silicon bases more that 2-3 minutes). Gently wipe/brush off residue using a towel. On lace bases, a finger nail brush can be used to gently brush off residue. Shampoo, rinse and dry thoroughly. On lace or monofilament, first use Walker Lace Release to safely release base from scalp, follow with C-22, then shampoo, rinse and dry thoroughly.

Walker Lace Release Solvent
Walker Lace Release is a skin safe solvent designed for use on lace or monofilament bases and works by releasing the tape or glue from the hair system base, thus reducing the chance of damage during removal. When used properly, most of the adhesive will release from the hair unit and remain on the scalp. Lace Release is not oily to the feel, though it does contain some Mineral Oil and is applied down through the lace where the tape or glue is attached to loosen.
Directions: This bottle has a Dab-on applicator pad built into the neck of the bottle. To apply just turn bottle upside down with pad against hair system or scalp and press down to release liquid (do not squeeze bottle). Apply over the area where tape or glue is attached, let set 1-2 minutes and base should lift away from scalp; apply more if needed for stubborn areas. Run finger between base and scalp to test that base is completely loose (do not pull as it may stretch or tear lace).
Use C-22 Citrus Based Solvent or Davlyn Lan-O-Sol
to gently remove any remaining residue from unit, as well as scalp. Shampoo, rinse and let dry thoroughly before reattaching wig or hair system.

Walker Scalp Protector
Scalp Protector is a skin preparation product that helps prevent irritation from tape and adhesives. It also improves the adhesion of tape and bonding adhesives to skin, under the following conditions:
Hot and Humid Weather,
Oily Skin,
Sports Activities,
Swimming
Scalp Protector is applied to the skin where it will be covered by tape or adhesive. It leaves a film on the skin that provides an extra layer of protection from irritating effects of adhesives. Scalp Protector also helps tape and bonding adhesive hold better and longer by putting a barrier between the skin and the adhesive. Adhesives are broken down by body acids and chemicals excreted through the skin. If the base is lace, make sure to apply this where it will be covered by tape or glue as it does have a bit of a shine to the film; any excess can be removed with a damp cotton swab.
Dab-On Bottle Directions: Remove cap and hold bottle upside down with pad against application area, press down to release and spread with pad
(do not squeeze bottle).
Directions and Recommendations: Use rubbing alcohol to clean skin where Scalp Protector and tape/adhesive will be applied; this removes excess body oils so the adhesive will stick to the skin. Apply Scalp Protector to skin and let dry until it is NOT tacky to the touch. Only need to apply where tape or adhesive will come in contact with skin (this is especially important when using a lace base since this product does have some shine after drying. This is a scalp preparation product and is not meant to replace tape or adhesive. Apply tape; soft bond or hard bond adhesive after Scalp Protector has dried.
