    Description

    This is a power supply for a short and low current HeNe laser. Originally manufactured by Uniphase (later names JDSU, currently Lumentum), USA,  Model 1205-1, it was specifically designed to drive the Model 1107 and 1108 Uniphase HeNe lasers, with nominal laser power of 0.8 mW and 0.5 mW, respectively. Used, and it was refurbished by replacing the missing key switch with a toggle switch, and by adding a cable gland to secure the power cable. No interlock. The high voltage brick power supply is the original one and provides 1250 VDC at 4.0 mA for the laser, from an input of 115 VAC, 0.12 A. This power supply can also power up other small laser tubes requiring a little more than 4.0 mA current. It was tested and works perfectly with a slightly larger size HeNe tube, requiring > 4.5 mA. Overall dimensions (approximately): 8" x 6" x 2.5".
