    Description

    This is a power supply for a long, high current, and powerful HeNe laser. Originally manufactured by Uniphase (later names JDSU, currently Lumentum), USA, Model 1216-1, it was specifically designed to drive the Model 1135 Uniphase HeNe laser, with nominal laser power of min. 10 mW. It was refurbished by replacing the old power supply brick with a new one having slightly different output voltage and current, as follows: old brick (defective) 3000 VDC, 6.5 mA; new brick 2800 VDC, 7.0 mA. Its higher current allows it to power up also older 10 mW HeNe laser heads or other HeNe laser tubes with similar discharge characteristics. Overall dimensions (approximately): 8.5" x 9" x 3".
