ANTIQUE H & R MFG "s.n.92” CAST IRON CAP GUN 1890*

Description

This “s.n.92” cap gun was made in 1890 with a 1 star rating for rarity. It is described in Sam Logan/Charles Best book “Cast Iron Toy Guns and Cap Shooters” on page 197 (s.n.92). This cap gun is 4 5/8 inches in length and does not have a cylinder. It is a single shot, single action, and uses a wooden peg which is not included.  The grip is hollow in the form of a loop and because of its age, the gun shows fading. When you pull the hammer back, it does spring forward to fire. Please refer to the pictures.
This is a toy cap gun. It cannot be altered to shoot any type of projectile.
