ANTIQUE ENGLAND “COWBOY” CAST IRON CAP GUN

Description

This "COWBOY" is a rare England cap gun. It is not listed in Sam Logan/Charles Best book “Cast Iron Toy Guns and Cap Shooters” but is a variation of the "DIXIE" (ENGLISH4)" cap gun listed on page 219. This cap gun is 5 3/4 inches in length. It is a single shot, single action, which means it has to be cocked every time to fire it. It takes a single cap. The gun has a cylinder that doesn't rotate. The names "COWBOY" and "ENGLAND" are clearly embossed on the left side of the cap gun, and a "W" on the right side. This gun is a heavy solid cap gun in excellent condition. This is a toy cap gun. It cannot be altered to shoot any type of projectile.
