This American Folk Hero John Henry stamp first day cover was posted in Anaheim, California on July 11th, 1996.  The cover is franked with a John Henry stamp and canceled with a traditional FDOI postmark. The cachet is a beautiful hand-painted design by Julian and Sharon Pugh of Pugh cachetmakers. Julian and Sharon have won many awards for the beautiful covers they design and produce. This cover is numbered 25 of 67 and are also signed and sell for far more than my asking price. Also included is an insert with more information about the stamp and design.
